I have had a C4 Picasso 1.6HDi VTR+ for nearly two months, 2980 miles on clock, car still under warranty. I have had warning comes up saying the electronic brake is faulty although the brake still works, left the car and went to work, came back and drove home, no warning of faulty brake and no sign of fault. Doe the faults just reset themselves?
Hello, I have a C4 Gran Picasso 1.6 hdi 109PS EGS6 2007 model. I have the following problem: I hear 3 beeps, get a message of FAULTY HANDBRAKE, FAULTY ESP /ASR SYSTEM, and the yellow warning lights for ESP, AUTO P OFF and SERVICE are permanently on. It think(?) it has sometimes briefly stated Handbrake Fault but not at the moment. When I turn the Key to Start/Crank I just get 1 beep. When I open the door to get out there are a series of beeps. Warning Lamps on - STOP, SERVICE, P in triangle (Parking Brake Fault) and P Auto Off ( Automatic Parking Brake functions are off)

undo the adjustment thread. just below the hand brake cable point up somewhere above the gearbox. (drums ) after new cable fitted. drums are adjusted with the old school way with the handbrake adjuster tool. handbrake cable adjusted. then the handbrake handle when pulled out to hold needs14 plus clicks.
