So, I'm trying to make a Horror Map with my brother, so I can post it here, and when we try to do /set worldspawn, it doesn't work. It just exits the chat, even though we did the command right. I don't know how to fix this. Players spawn in a large square of 20x20 where the center is the set spawnpoint. I'd suggest making some kind of large platform with tripwires over the ground. Hook them up to some kind of rapid clock that teleports all players in the area to wherever they should start the map.

Set world spawn location /setworldspawn [x y z] Set the world spawn location either to the player's current position or a set of entered coordinates. Change game mode

from stackoverflow: Code (Text): /setworldspawn moves the spawn point encoded in the world: this is where new players and players whose spawn points are invalid (e.g., broken or blocked beds) are spawned. Any player with a valid spawn point already set elsewhere will be unaffected. You might see some familiar faces, come play, say hi and hang
World Guard is a plugin, not a mod. The spawn protection only works for no OP's. So if you are OP on your server the spawn protections does not affect you. Steps to reproduce: 1. Player 1 places a bed and uses it to set their respawn point. 2. Player 2 notes where player 1 was standing and digs there a hole deep enough, or builds an obsidian-topped pillar high enough, to kill an unequipped player from fall damage. The pillar could also be used for extortion instead. Set to = repeat and needs redstone with a lever flipped on. This was done so the command blocks can be switched off since you cannot change anything in them when they are set to always active w/o having to destroy the command block it's self. Commandblock 2. gamemode s @a[r=100,m=a] Set to = repeat and needs redstone with another lever flipped If you don't have cheats enabled you can do that temporarily by clicking the [Open to LAN] button on the pause screen. It will still try to respawn you in the last bed you slept in but if it can't find it it should use the spawn point you set. Last edited by Hexalobular: Sep 17, 2018. Just testing.

To set the spawn, you need cmi.command.setspawn permission. (true/false) – Defines players spawn point after death, if set to true, for /cmi spawn command. Default Minecraft commands are built-in functions accessed through the chat window or console, enabling players to manipulate the game world in various ways. These commands allow players to quickly and easily perform tasks that would otherwise be time-consuming or difficult. Players can use commands to modify the .
